Last statue of Lenin will be removed in Kotka, Finland. Turku also had a Lenin statue but it was removed already this year. We won't be building socialism ever again.

https://yle.fi/news/3-12492284

>A statue of Russian leader Vladimir Ilyich Lenin will be removed from the streets of the city of Kotka in southeast Finland, and relocated to a museum, following a decision by the city council on Monday evening.

Thoughts on this?

Maybe you should remove kurdish terrorists from your country first

Such tough choices. European and American retarded media celebrated the decision of Finland and Sweden joining NATO as the fact as if it already happened, because as usual with Euro-Americans they got used to Americans saying something and everyone obeying, so they assumed that every NATO puppet will vote unanimously to allow Sweden and Finland to join. Turkey said no. And even now American-European media almost ignore that fact that this formality of Turkish decision blocks their plans. They still somehow hope that magically this issue will resolve itself and they won't have to write any retractions. Maybe American and European media still hopes that Biden will pull this trick

They hope that Biden will just go to Turkey and somehow strongman them behind the curtain, force them to vote yes by withdrawing some aid or other money or something without much publicity and force them to make the positive decision. So funny to see it now. And Turkey now has even more points of friction with NATO around Greece, so its not going to be easy to make them vote Yes to Sweden-Finland without many compromises with Turks, you have to please the Turks now to expand NATO.

And in this situation Finland decides to remove Lenin statues. And from where? From Kotka! This city used to have Russian roots. English wikipedia doesn't mention it, lol, you have to dig real deep to find that city was built in the place of Russian fortress
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruotsinsalmi_sea_fortress
But in wiki its written as if
>On April 16, 1878, the Senate of the Grand Duchy of Finland issued a declaration establishing a city on the southern part islands from the old Kymi parish,
No mention of Russian history.

In any country there are politicians who want to score cheap political points by doing these symbolic gestures. In Ukraine they weren't improving the quality of life, instead they had politicians who were wining the elections based on the promises of symbolic gestures like removing statues or renaming streets. And look where it led the Ukraine. What we see now is Ukrainiazation of Finland. If they go deep down this path, there won't be anything good for regular Finns, maybe they will tear down more monuments of Russian heritage, sell their sovereignity to NATO apponted office of command headed by some mexican-black woman, but the life of the people of Finland is not going to get better from all of this.

I do not associate with ros*a and do realize that the whole Ukrainian "decommunization" thing was a justified derussification, they needed some sorta ""russian" symbolism to dismantle and so they did, I just don't see a reason Finland would have to do that as Lenin never had anything to do with Russian aggression from their perspective. Besides, you wanna truly show some support to the right cause - you send them guns they have to beg for, that would be the smarter thing to do.

Fuck, imagine if Trotsky would outjew Lenin to become the head of the party and started actually pushing for esperantisation of Russia, while purgin minorities and even Russians because they resisted it. This is the universe darker than TNO or anything else. Don't get me wrong, we could establish stronger ties with Spanish speaking countries in that universe, but that connection could just as easily be severed by circumstances like North American influence. And then Russia would be even worst field of the failed experiments than original Soviet Union was.

Trotsky would also do his own purges, he wouldn't allow any opposition to his power.
We can only see him as a positive figure because he didn't have the power to wreak havoc on civilisational scale. If he would depose of Stalin before the purges of the thirties, then maybe modern communists would view Stalin as the based figure, who would have been much better than Trotsky. Same shit about Bukharin

I don't think most people realized yet: but about 90% of alleged German military equipment either doesn't work or outright doesn't exist
This is why wect can't send weapons: we don't actually have any, we just faked it all the time
RussiaBernd2022-06-14 17:40:59 · 4yNo. 170716reply
my opinion is that Germany is smart and doesn't want to lose the equipment. And get nothing in return. Its really stupid to just gift Ukraine weapons, what do you get in return? Just charity of sending weapons to the lost cause is really dumb. And Russia can capture that equipment and then your secret weapons will be copied and studied. It is possible to sell Ukraine these weapons by borrowing them money in debt. But that increases your stakes in this war, because you become more intrested in the victory of Ukraine and have to constantly borrow more debt to be sure that Ukraine wins and able to pay you back. If Ukraine loses, whats going to happen to its debt? Who is going to pay you money that Ukraine promised in exchange for weapons?

Lenin was a great man and humanity is in far worse condition since communism lost the Cold War. We are headed to a massive culling of the human population as the bourgeoisie increasingly have less use for the proletariat. He was a flawed human, but his goals were objectively better than the goals of the people running the show today.

Perhaps the biggest mistake of communism was antagonism towards Christianity. Institutionally Christianity is conservative but there have always been tendencies within Christianity that are very aligned with the goals of communism. The Franciscans, a bunch of Protestant sects like the Quakers…hell, even Dostoyevsky was nearly killed by the tsarist regime for being a socialist.

Communism is essentially Christianity without Christ, they could barely coexist. At least not with the institute of church itself, as they CHOSE to oppose communists when they had the chance to play along. Messing with people's private lives is another thing though, but in DDR, Christians were the biggest destructive force IIRC.

Atheism isn’t essential to communism. Most strains of communism are anti religious, but it isn’t a necessary component.
