Okay so just as all South American stuff is confusing to me, I understand things around here can be confusing for people over there. So let's clear some basics out:
- Scandinavia = Denmark, Norway & Sweden.
- Nordic countries = Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland
The Scandinavian countries share a germanic language and blood. Finnish language is finno-ugric and is not related or similar at all to germanic languages. Finns have a different heritage too, which is memed to be mongolian (back in 2004 on 4chan they used to meme about Swedes being swedemongols because Finns were so irrelevant and unknown then, but later it changed to a meme about Finns when they made their presence known).
Culturally however all the nordic countries are very similar even if they don't want to admit it due to rivarly or whatever butthurt reason they happen to have at the time you are reading about it.
