I had a similar experience.

 

When my brother told me that he wants to travel with car and gf through east europe all the way up to finland coming back through sweden -> denmark I asked him if he plans to take the ferry from Talinn to Helsinki and he couldn't believe that I have such map wisdom in my head without using google.
