I fully agree with you, IRA songs are pretty cool. To be honest, most politically extremist music sounds pretty good, no matter whether Rightist or Leftist.
IRA songs and Irish Patriotic songs made me happy in depressive days or stressful days.
My favorite song
There is an album by The Chieftains called San Patricio.
Its a mix of mexican and irish music, the whole thing is a gem.
But this song made me cry when I was living in Canada.
