Five different numbers called me today. No sound after few seconds the telephone line disconnected.
Should i start destroying my hard disk and phone?

Change phone number. I get spam calls as well, because apparently the owner who had the number before me was a massive retard.

Americans also get robo-calls telling them to vote for the Zog-bot-neocon-boomer №311 or else the country will be overrun by commies

I get these too, I suppose that they are automatic calls to see if a line is used and that if you answer you'll be harassed constantly.
When I do get a human on the line it's usually a Tunisian call centre, sometimes Israeli, and they try to sell you some scammer shit.
I like to roleplay as an insufferable high class sounding individual sometimes with them.

I would never ever pick up a call from a number I don't know. You thought it's a girl or something? I don't even pick up calls from numbers I know most of the time

Once I blocked all withheld numbers, the whole of Africa, Russia, Britun and some other countries regional code those calls mostly stopped.
I also stopped answering my phone by saying my family name and just use an aggressive "Hello?" instead with unknown numbers, when it's marketing research I tell them that I am somebody completely different to further salt any data they got and they stopped doing that with my number either.

It's simple, just select the number and add it to the block list.
If you navigate to the block list you can block whole regional codes like +43 for Germany for example.
FranceBernd2022-06-07 19:39:11 · 4yNo. 164050reply
Dunno, just search in the options.
Also the french government has a list where one can add his phone number and it makes it illegal to call you for ads (called Bloctel).

+43 isn't the country code for Germany, it's +49

Right, it's the one for Austria, I always mix them up... already led to some very confused calls with some doctors office in Germany while I was in Erlangen I tried to call me mum 10 times...
