Yeah, it was low quality already for some time, but since the Austrian Covid shit and later the Ukraine war it a) brought too many idiots from other places to the board and b) seemingly asked too much of the people moderating the place to keep it in a way where it allows for good discussion.

You can see the decline in the participation at the year end drawings for example.

 

In general the moderation pretty much turned to shit. I don't think any legal discussion should be banned, but tbh I also don't constantly need to see this fucking pedo shit all the time.

All I want is to talk to people from around the world but aparently it's not possible to moderate a place in a way where you allow for normal discussion and at the same time not letting your place get fucked by pedos and 4kankers.

What's the solution?

You need to find a way to encourage (topic) relevant discussion and discourage disruptive behviour while at the same time allow the content in general without censoring it.

 

I don't think it's easy to solve. One idea I had and which I would like to see tried at some point is some form of thread moderation ability for thread creators.
