The early seasons were actually family sitcom by todays standards. The family goes to church regularly and believes in god. I suppose compared to Full House it was like the Velvet Underground though.

Besides cow and chicken there was another example of retarded unfunny cartoon show. It was about a cat and cockroaches, it was a French cartoon if I'm not mistaken.
