Everyone is like "hurr durr how can you like this art, the person who made this is a bad person", but nobody feels even a little bit guilty about not liking art made by someone who is a good person if it is bad.
I think it was Sartre who wrote that the greatest death an author faces is no longer being able to correct the record after dying. Social media has made it so that living authors can no longer correct the record.
