Playing guitar all day, I'm making progress.

I'm developing a technique to play reggae on solo acoustic guitar (skank + bass), also had my first gig last week and I nailed it.

I started to have fun cooking ever since I used one of those meal kit services. Finding recipes and then getting all the ingredients is the most annoying part for me. So this is perfect.

Pros:

- No wasted food

- Portion sizes are fixed, so I am forced to eat more healthy

- New recipes to choose from every week

- Trying out new things and learning about ingredients you don't normaly see in the super market

- You learn how to cook

- Don't have to leave house as often

 

Cons:

- Maybe more trash? (mostly paper)

- More expensive

Even though the rice was too soft and the carrots cut too small it's one of my favorites so far.

The fish was amazing. It was glazed in a mix of sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, sesame seeds, sesame oil, garlic and a lot of ginger. 10/10

This one was very comfy. Just some pasta with cheesy sauce and chicken nuggets.

That's kinda cool.

But for me, much of the fun is in mixing and matching ingredients I have at hand, improvising to final result. Which is just the opposite of what those kits are for… Tho I guess you need quite a bit of experience before you're confident enough to cook completely off recipe.
