What is the general mood of the people of your city?
People are stressed here due to stagnant wages, no affordable rentals or rentals for that matter, rising commodities and relentless amounts of immigrants.

My city is full of students and generally everyone is friendly except for the wealthy german boomers.
Kebab store owners here call you "mein Lieber" and if you smoke a blunt outside you have to be more afraid of random people wanting you to share it than the cops.

Most of the people in my town are poor already, and also on welfare. Nothing changes for us, life as usual.

Middle class people are probably having a hard time.

I'm not black, but some 12% of the people in my town are. Rest are poor white trash mostly. The people that actually work mostly have low wage jobs, which due to the shortages have actually seen wage increases.

I make money online, have no debts, own my house and cars (houses are cheap here because poor), and abuse the system any way I can because we don't even have a legitimate government, so why not? Almost everyone else here is also abusing the system in some way. I grew up poor also, so this economic downturn isn't harming me in any way really, it is just pulling others down to my level. Such cases in the Rust Belt.

Literally hell. Not hyperbole. Maybe Mogadishu is worse... maybe. Been to Detroit, New Orleans during Katrina, this, my hometown DaH ChAhRm CiTy HON! Makes me wish I was born a Darfur war orphan because though though it would be agony it would be over quickly. My only driving force in my life is that I am taking steps to get the fuck out of this sewage filled nightmare dystopia that has the fucking pretense of calling itself a city. The only people who would defend this city are either rich or have stockholm syndrome. The only reason I fear death is I believe in reincarnation and if I die here I will be reincarnated in Baltimore.

Another Rust Belt survivor. We'll make our way out of this, there are a thousand places then where we are we just need to get to them!

Housing prices rose in some cases 100% here in 5 years because of cheap credit, then when covid hit the central bank lowered the interest to historical lows while oatting it self on the back for being so clever. Result is that housing prices rose another 40%, know that dumbfuck reddit plan for gamestop? Kind on living through that but with the roof over my head. Now the banks are in a Mexican stand off with the government and the plebians over who backs down to release pressure from the market. Plebs need somewhere to live and the government is essentially neo cons so they wont do shit. So we wait for the crash which happens once prices go above what banks are willing to risk lending.

Other than that and the absolutely shit weather life is pretty good here. Easy mode tbh.

No problem, mate. It may sound awful, but I am actually very relaxed and cozy. I do what I want to pretty much the whole day, and the homeless and drug addicts pretty much mind their own business unless they get caught up in deals with them. At least I don't live in Baltimore, like poster above. That's worse than sub-Saharan Africa.

After some years I plan on staying in the same area but moving to the countryside, just to get away from the people. My wife likes Amish country, which is nearby, so perhaps we'll move there.

Rust Belt prepares you for hard times. In a way, we are lucky. I spend a lot of time just walking around, exploring long abandoned factories and houses, crumbling infrastructure abound, taking in the general malaise.

Then, once in a while I'll take a trip to some other part of the country to one of endless suburbs, where everything is new, people are living easy, privileged lives in their McMansions, getting mad at some slight inconvenience like their Satarbucks order being wrong. You know the type. These people aren't prepared for anything. They are weaklings.

Because it is a region that was once full of industry and decent jobs, but now is in a state of decay and poverty. Rusting hulks of its former prosperity now litter the landscape, because it is too expensive to remove them.

People here aren't very optimistic but we get by. I live in a small town in a valley and there is lots of nature around so it's okay. Housing is expensive but I am welfare neet anyway so I dont care much.
People at the food bank are nice, I get free foods, everything okay.

People live their ordinary lifes. But i would differ 3 kinds of people:
1. 50% - are patriots who glorify Russia
2. 40% - dont consider Ukraine as a separate country. Think that it is a civil war between russians and "borderland russians". Many of there people born in Ukraine.
3. 10% - are pro-western ((liberals)) they whine and scold the regime

Categories of people founded upon Ljubljana:
- communists. they control the media and judiciary
- bugmen. they work for the communists and state administration
- "artists". produce communist propaganda and get state funding.
- students. get drunk and consume communist as well as wectern propaganda.
- ćefurji. subhuman short heda degenerate humanoid mass from serbia and bosnia. (I consider albanians as subset of this group, as they're essentially the same)
- me & other unlucky chaps whose parents and grandparents fell for the urbanisation meme and have nowhere to move out of this hellhole

Everyone minds his own business
Older people are mostly friendly and happy when you talk with them.
In hipper districts are students, hipster, leftists which think they are so special.
My city is the capital but I live in an outer district where mostly normal people live, many boomers, and in some parts many foreigners.
I am ok with it tho.

You are not allowed to form a production company to produce pornography, if you want to sell your boipussy on OF you are welcome to make that personal choice. This law was set to preserve the dignity of this island nations strategic reserves of stupid sluts.

Few weeks back some genius femirule politician had the idea to hide all porno behind an official government sign in page, it took waaaay too long for comfort for people to realize that it was both an impossible and retarded idea. But sometimes it is convenient for those to rule to distract the plebians with such ridiculousness.

>are pro western people middle class
No they are not. By pro-western i mean people who eat western propaganda: they belive that Putin is a tyran, that we have no freedoms in Russia, that our governemt only steals money from people, and they stand for Ukraine and NATO in this conflict. As i think many of them are youngsters and schoolars, most of them dont even speak english because of low education.
To my my mnid Putin is legitimate president, chosen by the people, and under his rule Russia came to prosperity. Our society is highly democratic, and in times of war a person must not criticize his country.
