If imageboards are a reflective vessel of modern society. Their ability to carry great influence is underestimated by their ability to trickle culture into other websites and while also being a good indicator of the general decay of the real world, they also have a good ability of forecasting what society is going to be thinking in x amount of years. Currently we're along the lines of 2015 image board culture and that gap is diminishing slowly.
What I see is tiresome is the general apathy of owners and the userbase. There's a hardcore fringe user base that has a bitter disposition about newfags and while they're good at gate keeping the older culture of what what them good, newfags are clashing against this system at an alarming rate while introducing their post meta content that is vapid and utterly hopeless to plant the seeds of tomorrow.
The mod that banned me was insane, and other bernds agreed that he is overstepping boundaries.
Turns out its helmut. Of course he can do whatever he wants, its his website. So can facebook and zuckerberg, doesn't means people have to agree with it.
I rather be banned for life, than be on a website that is so unfairly moderated. Sure, i could just shut up and take it up the ass, but fuck that. I don't want to submit to admins to post on Kc. He literally is banning now people that disagree with him regarding ukraine or the vaccine. I myself am anti-vaccine, but don't support mods banning everything that disagrees with them or some posters.
I guess I agree with the fact it sucks but you just have to deal with the fact it's the state of that shitchan for now. I doubt there is any place where you can really practice freedom of speech, and whenever you find a site that seems to moderate based on opinions you either need to comply or leave.
Like seriously, if they want to moderate based on opinions by now (and the rest of mods probably don't even care), why would they stop doing it? It doesn't help to make a complain. I am sure Helmut is very well sure aware what is going on.
I have discord server with 100+ members with half of whom i in perpetual mute mode, some of people i hate and wish them die are mods too, yet, being owner i have no reason to impose any sanctions because i have only 2 rules.
1. no spam/flood
2. no shit that is against discord policy

So do you necessarily need a free speech platform? Why not post specific stuff to likeminded people on site X and stuff to likeminded people on Y instead of expecting a site to agree with all of your views? Let's say all the bernds would sage your thread when you go antivaxx or provaxx, would that be free speech either?
What I believe that is going to happen soon is all the bernds with specific opinions leave khc and that is it. They go somewhere else where some their opinions are tolerated and some are not.
Well I must agree with the echochamber view. Needs confirmation if this site gives you bans for opinions or do we need yet another board.
For me those opinions are all right though, I am not a schizo or a pedo. Though I think you could have delusional people on imageboards as long as they behave well.
You give spammers a outtime. If a schizo makes 10 threads and hour about the vaccine, you ban him.
You don't ban people for disagreeing about politics. While helmut bans people now for politics, the vaccine, and i personally got banned for insulting my own mother, which he doesn't likes.
Its like parler which claims to be free speech, but now they are banning stuff that goes against Christianity.

This board has a lot of potential though. 20-30 bernds online at all times and PPH is 3-10 PPH which is much more than most imageboards and makes it worth it to check it every hour.
Question is if we can make it better somehow. You can't even google for imageboards (barely) and advertising imageboards on imageboards is kinda haram.
I read the whole /bans/ board and didn't find any mention of getting banned by opinions
Maybe just discussing them or talking about CP laws or shit like that could be allowed, but not drawing pedos in is necessary. I don't expect to get banned for not hating pedos really, although I definitely hate sharing a website with them.
(though they are really mean for not having their own site to shit upon.)
