Music, electronic ambient music and indie electronic music can be so beautiful like you have no idea, the amount of textures, feelings and emotions that it can produce is amazing, sometimes it makes you feel things that are beyond feelings... If only we could feed from music, life would be way better...

First of all: What do you mean by faith and religion?

 

I like the ancient world where there was a different understanding of religion than it is now prevalent with abrahamic religions. There was public religious services and private practice of philosophy to deal with moral questions and so on. In my opinion, having a one-stop-shop like Islam or Christianity is dumb.

 

Supernatural beliefs should be replaced by science and an actual understanding of the world.

Moral convictions and purpose in life can be achieved through philosophy and held as sacred as supernaturally-inspired beliefs can.

 

Then there is a host of other stuff like community, rituals, etc. But it really depends on what is important to you, OP.

Not you, the posters above. Music, nature, even games are all kinds of meditation.

Well, I mentioned philosophy. You should get into that if you're interested in these questions. People have been asking themselves for thousands of years and have given some very interesting thoughts on that.

 

Also studying psychology and facts of human nature. We actually have some scientific research into what makes people happy and gives them a sense of purpose.

Sometimes I feel bad, sometimes I feel good. It's not like I'm depressed or something, but this is all so temporary, and when I try to think of my life from some bigger perspective I find it kinda meaningless.
