When I was 11 yo I went to stomatologist to repair 2 my front teeth.
I sat into the chair and they made me local anesthesia. Stomatologist started his work. After a while I felt how my eyes are loosing ability to see and also waves of weakness are piercing my body. I tried to keep the chair with all my force but it didn't help. Suddenly I saw the room from it's corner, somewhere near it's ceiling. In one moment all the pain and discomfort disappeared. I saw the room 360 around. Stomatologist called for help, her colleagues came to me and started trying to return me back. I felt so good I didn't want it. I saw my body and had thought like "so this little ugly boy is me, huh?" Suddenly one of them gave me ammonia and I opened my eyes. I never told anyone this.

When I was a kid I was playing with my sister near my grandmothers house on a rock, I fell and hit my head but I didn't think it was too bad. Sister was worried and took me back to grandmother. Grandmother screamed when she saw it, I didn't know what the fuss was about, I remember going to the mirror to see and I don't think it looked too bad.
Next I remember levitating above the ambulance that took me to the hospital, I remember seeing the whole area around it and watch it drive off.
Next thing I remember is me playing with some toys in the hospital after they fixed the wound, still have a scar from it 30 years later.

Made-up memories is a funny thing, especially when you're trying to distinguish what of these you really experienced and what was just made by your mind trying to fill the gaps years later.
I had something similar with dreams. I rarely remember them, but sometimes I can start remember some dream days (or years) later not realising it was a dream until something doesn't add up.

Once, back when I was about 8-9 y.o. may be, they admitted me to a hospital because of my asthma and to the evening of my first day there I missed my mum so much that I lost consciousness and they had to give me ammonia.

It wasn't that bad afterwards though; I made some friends among children there and things were cool. We would all gather in the hall and watch picrelated. (Yeah, I'm an old fart.)

I also always forget my dreams but today I dreamed of having seggs with a super fat and ugly girl I know and I was disgusted but we did it and now the memories don't go away.

It was not made up
I was shocked for few days after this, also that "reality" looked much more real than "real" reality because "real" reality have some kind of "white noise"
NetherlandsBernd2022-03-07 17:00:43 · 4yNo. 140420reply
It was made up by your brain. You may still think it's real, nut it's not. It simply never happened, just at some later point of time your brain created these memories so of course they seem real.

Brain is 3 kg of lard. How can 3 kg of lard create a world that is better than real world?
NetherlandsBernd2022-03-07 17:11:55 · 4yNo. 140424reply
It didn't create a world that is better, it created a world that your brain intereprets as a better one, quite an easy task.

Do you have any proofs to support your claims?
NetherlandsBernd2022-03-07 18:00:56 · 4yNo. 140445reply
No proofs, but I know a person with similar memories who ended up with such conslusion and it kinda fits good. It also fits to my own experience with dreams.
I can be wrong but I'm quite sure I am not.

why atheists gotta be so boring
FinlandBernd2022-03-07 18:03:11 · 4yNo. 140448reply
This proofs nothing. Your imaginary friend and your dreams do not make our experiences into dreams to fit your world-view.

They are afraid of a higher power and the feeling of losing control.
NetherlandsBernd2022-03-07 18:05:45 · 4yNo. 140450reply
How is this boring? It means there's a lot going on in our brains we cannot understand yet. It shows a lot of brain capabilities we haven't been able to use yet. I see it much more interesting than some unexplainable and incomprehensible beliefs.
FinlandBernd2022-03-07 18:16:23 · 4yNo. 140454reply
You arrogantly claim to be on the side of science yet you base your world view on nothing but incomprehensible beliefs yourself.

Show me please where I claimed something like this. I only said that I like my point of view more and find it less boring.

In all your earlier posts where your only source is your imaginary friend and your own experiences. I am not surprised that a typical ath*ist is blinded by his own arrogance again.

I never said anything about claiming anything. I just shared my experiences and my point of view.

What's worse, I wonder - fear of losing control or fear of certain words?..

well you did write "Made-up memories is a funny thing"
there's an implication there I'd say

You mistake my disgust and disdain for fear.
NetherlandsBernd2022-03-07 18:28:15 · 4yNo. 140462reply
An implication of that I believe it was the same for me, yes. You could say it is a claim, maybe I don't fully understand that word. But then what's the difference between claims and beliefs, and why is one worse than another?

>also that "reality" looked much more real than "real" reality because "real" reality have some kind of "white noise"
of course, because it's smooth and purely self-sufficient
meanwhile the "real" reality constantly has to conform to sensory impulses, which themselves carry "white noise"

Disgust and disdain lead to hatred. Isn't it even worse than fear?
