Wtf is this board software? Why not use vichan, lynxchan or some other basic software for this? I'm a refugee from pedochan but this place is really off-putting.

this engine is 10/10 for phoneposting but sadly a 6 on PC.

Why make improvements when ol' tech works just fine? Imageboards are best if they all use the same base and you can expect scripts to work out-of-the-box. I can appreciate the admin making this site as a hobby but this is horrible.
 
But well... I guess I have no choice than to put up with this. Be gentle to me.

there are many newcomers lately due to pedochan becoming gigapedochan
 
on pc it freezes in my browser if I let it run for a long time in the background and I'll have to reload the tab

I don't see how a new IB software is a problem. Vichan is old, and a mess (or something), lynxchan is nodejs and monogdb... There will never be a perfect one, but some people would prefer an implementation, some people would prefer another. Or another.
