I'm planning to get a rescue swimmer's certificate. Does anyone else have experience with this?

Additional info:
- swam really well as a child, took part and did well in competitions and events
- trained for the rescue swimmer's badge in bronze, but didn't do the test
- had some knee injury and was told not to do certain swim styles
- only swam 2 times since the pandemic started
- probably should get a doctor's checkup before training
- pools are always full, so training is really difficult without joining a club
- don't know the local club yet

I get very quickly cold in water even during summer when it's extremely hot

I thought Finland was a cold place. (Yet always so calm)

Is Finland a cheerful place as they say?

It's boring but safe and that's about it. Ordnung, clean & nature. Cheerfulness is reserved for friends and KC, not to strangers.

That’s reasonable. Well *Yawn* goodnight.
