I called the company this morning. When I finally came through, they said they would call back. They didn't and left me waiting uselessly at my desk.

The second time I called, they said they were looking into it already. Still, it isn't fixed.

I can use mobile internet via my phone, but of course the data plan is limited and I ran out of data very quickly. Now I bought a 24h flatrate for 6€. Germany is bottom tier in terms of internet. Literal third-world countries have much better and cheaper internet.

The internet in my house occasionally cuts off, and restarting the router usually works.

It is annoying though. It seems to always cut off when you need it. While you're doing a bank payment, while you're listening to boss address to employees (virtually due to coofers), while someone is being a faggot online and I want to btfo them with facts and logic.

I just want the normal internet experience I'm paying for. Having some kind of technical problem for 37 hours is really annoying. Now I'm forced to pay a second internet plan from a different company because the first one isn't delivering.

Usually I just have automatic updates enabled. So when some phone app decides to update itself it is often 100-400MB already. Listening to music or podcasts can also be in the same ballpark in an afternoon. Watching an video on YouTube or a Netflix episode for relaxenings is easily more than 1GB. Normal using the internet, getting e-mails is not nothing, either.

Yeah sure, you can make do with just text-based content. But it is annoying to not have the fun stuff or needing to fiddle around with auto-update settis and so on.

It's doubly annoying to not know for certain for how long this problem will persist. It could come back in a minute or not for another day.

Also: Being vacationing on a mountain is obviously different than sitting at home wörking.
