I goggled them and I was right.

Housing crisis and due to this, having no references forces me to lie my way into every conversation about my employment status. As a result I had to settle for a building in the worst neighbourhood, and it stinks constantly of cigarettes. I don't mind but now my clothing reeks.

They're not bad. Lots of good fishing in the area and a great way to spend time outdoors.

What I need is a friend or a woman to go hiking and fishing with, then life will improve 20 fold.

I should have said I need a friend or a woman with a car and a driver's license. There's no way I can live rurally without regular transport to buy food. It's already enough of a hassle walking 14km to the cheapeat shop in town.

Also a bonus: Window is cracked, sealed with tape.

Paint looks like it could have lead in it.

Neighbours are quiet, so that's good. They're old alcohols and lower class.

Landlord has anger issues. He started kicking snow after telling me he had problems with a junky. Offered me work but he seems a bit dodgy. I worry he wouldn't pay me and he seems like the type to take advantage.

Tons of homeless and junkies around town asking me for spare change.

Pajeets everywhere. They seem to outnumber natives. Not an issue, rather surprising at the amount of them fooled into coming into the country to work minimum wage jobs and living four + to a room.
