I recently got tinnitus.
It sounds like the high pitched noise of tube TVs.

Just tested my hearing and I can still hear frequencies up to 18khz so ot's not caused hearing loss...

Probably stress? I hope it will go away.

i hope that it is stress though, because then I can relax and it should go away

Stress destroy the nevers.
Once i tested Opioids strange thing is the tinnitus went away for few hours. I nearly cried because i have tinitus for over 15 years nonstop.

Is a highpitch like in your description. The heartbeat makes it "wavy".

man, my condolences

I'm glad I met I met someone else with this here though, got nobody to talk about it.

First my eyes, now my ears.
I wonder what life is going to fuck up next once I learned how to live with my tinnitus.

My right ear got a bad infection years ago, resulting in a mild tinnitus.
Then I popped my right ear drum while hitchhiking through Newfoundland during the winter, bearing a beating from the cold and leaving a resulting dampening to my hearing and a louder pitched tinnitus.
Then I worked in a factory this year, causing horrible ringing that persisted even through my days off.
Now I would sacrifice my eyesight in exchange to return my hearing to when I was a young man.

Pillow over my heda or anything that muffles sounds. The worst sound in my eyes is hearing the unintelligible mumbles of others through walls, doors, etc.

Sleeping with open window is best, the sound of the Autobahn overlap the tinnitus.

something that sometimes helps to shut down your tinnitus is to cover the affected ear and then focusing your attention on the tinnitus sound. In about half a minute the sound may get shut out temporarily. If you go true every component of your tinnitus like this you may be able to have a temporary respite from this sufferings
