Dude. These days I'm playing "Tomb Raider Angel Of Darkness". People's consensus on that one is that it's probably the worst entry in the pre-reboot series, and I do agree with that. The plot is silly, the atmosphere and setting are a miss, graphics didn't age too well, and the controls+camera are just the worst. But you know what? I'm enjoying it. I'd say it slowly cures my gaming impotence. It oozes a metric ton of early 00s style in every aspect that I've just mentioned. The secret is to take it in small doses - just like with any other medicine. I play it about an hour every couple of days - and can get enough.
If it's not fun anymore, take a break. Not by playing another action game, just stop playing altogether - spend an evening or two watching films, reading or just walking through quiet chill German streets. It should help.
