It's just a casual observation from my own thoughts on the state of imageboards given their rather parched creative tanks. It seems to me that most memes are mainly language based now and I don't think the cookie cutter image memes we see through social media, with their banded words strewn across a horribly compressed jpegs are within the real of creative potential, they're usually going off the text to push their message.
