Are you driving through Soltau or Celle?

I already used 10% of my monthly mobile internet. I’ll probably read a book and check on Bernds again a while later.

I needed to check where Soltau and Celle are. I thought on the Soviet Occupation Zone, but no. I’m hopefully not going through these places.

I sort of wish head and facial tattoos were more common outside of NZ.

Disregarding that, I do wish more oced cunts would reinvigorate their train infrastructure or upgrade better public systems. The level of train issues in NZ is pathetic in terms of a first world country. Some scheduled trips are disembarked midway through due to the sheer negligence involved in maintaining the tracks, and thus need to bus the passengers to their destination.

I’m travelling about 800km

It would be over 1000km by car from the northernmost town on the island Sylt to the southernmost town with the nice name wasteland creek, but that’s not my route today.

Many germlings eager to get on trains today. Very crowded. But I was smart and paid for seat reservation in advance.

 

I’m going through Frankfurt with the train soon.

 

Travelling anywhere via Marburg with car is stupid, though.

Feeding pirds is VERBOTEN on German train station (at least using hand).

Soldiers on the seat next to me were kicked off their seats by Swiss people who had reservations.

I think soldiers travel for free when I’m uniform, but have no additional perks over a paying customer of the Deutsche Bahn.

It wasn't a pleasure trip, so I just needed to get home from an extended stay for work. That being said, it was alright.

 

+ I could go from door to door with public transport, only had to walk like 400m

+ Trains were on time. Only about 5 minutes delay.

- Somewhat expensive (80€)

- One train was full, not very comfortable in 2nd class.

- No working internet connection on trains, had to use up most of my 1GB monthly allowance of mobile internet.

 

3/5 will travel like this again.

How often you changed the train?

- bus to train station

- train to changeover station

- train to target city

- tram to home

 

So just 1 changeover in the Deutsche Bahn network.

 

I always try to make as few changeovers as possible, because they are the main source of problems. When going north-south, it is always best to get the train from Switzerland to Hamburg or Kiel via Frankfurt. It is the most popular route in Germany and thus well maintained and fast.
