Do you identify yourself more with your nation or europe?
The people around here are the only ones I feel familiar with, the French and Germans are just too foreign for me, same with anyone else. I don't feel close with Swedes, Norwegians or Russians either.
Don't get me wrong, I like Europe and europeans, but after the immigrant invasion in 2015 I really start feeling a disdain for it, I have even less in common with weird people from the desert cultures.
Scammunist Finland unfortunately never really shook off the Tsaric ways of managing the country, meaning we have a bunch of untouchable and unelected bureaucrats with a lot of power that feel they are above the law making plenty of decisions here. Then combine that with the fact that all our political parties are so left leaning our "right" party 'Kokoomus', is more left leaning that Swedens and Denmarks Social Democrats.
We are too isolated here, I wish we were closer to Northern European nations and Estonia, but the sea keeps us apart.
Europe should build (as Greens in Germany suggested) and invest in railways and tunnels that would connect all European cities tighter (and St Petersburg).
Peter Vesterbacka, Angry Birds billionaire, wants to build a tunnel between Tallinn and Helsinki with private funding, but is being blocked by local bureaucrats who think its in their power to decide such things.
Personally I love the idea of a more connected Europe. Trains & railways would be a great way of doing it. Riding the trains in Central Europe and crossing borders to different countries over there was ebin.
Picture #1 is how Greens in Germany suggested, but I would definitely expand it to picture #2 as some other person suggested, and make it all connected. Now THAT is something I would gladly pay my taxes for, but I doubt anything cool like this will ever happen.

smol cities and low populated zones that are far off from the places that matter should be accessible by national trains but not the big european train network
Damn, I'd really love to see this coming true. Perhaps by 2030 the greens will get more voters because many of the old CDU and SPD voting cattle boomers already died :^)
The greens also want to build many new streets for bicycles to better connect cities with each other so you can quick and safely travel by bike instead of driving a car.
