I've developed a fetish watching documentaries about rubbish. Somehow this must relate to my unrelenting fascination with dumpster diving, but it marvels me how as we progress deeper into consumerism, we've created millions of jobs in third world countries by removing our unsightly waste at a cheaper cost than disposing in our countries. It's marvelous how enduring the human body and spirit can adapt under haphazardly changing zones and yet there's nothing to stop these tireless disposals and recycling.

My favourite video thus far was about an American start up building mycelium based moulds for consumer packaging and producing a meat alternative. It was pretty cool but sickening how we're trying to find solutions to problems we could easily solve at the cost of our economies.
