That one scene in Harry Potter where Ron spits slugs always creeped me out.
When I was a kid I once found a fire red slug in the forest and I got so triggered that I killed it with salt.
It's slug season again, innit? I really do not appreciate those things, ruins my day when it gets under something I need to grab and I squish it with my fingers. The absolute worst tactile feel imaginable, I'd rather grab a bunch of needles tbh.
But the worst thing about them is the way they breathe. All of them have this hole on the right side, it's an opening to their "lungs" where they absorb oxygen. They don't inhale/exhale but just let the air circulate naturally. The way it looks is very disturbing, I shouldn't be able to see inside their inner workings, what's up with that?
I know, right? I never noticed it IRL mainly because I try to not look at them slugs. Now I just want to sit at home. Thought I would share this brilliant find with you lot.
slughelp.com recommends getting ducks for slug extermination, but if there is no slugs to eat they will destroy basically everything else. Tricky business.
I found two sluges doing the sex in am emtpy paper bucket and when I held my burning joint in the bucket to see what happens, the sluge who was all inside the bucket got exposed to the smoke suddenly started rolling itself together and then it stopped moving at all.
TL;DR I killed a sluge with marijuana

Slugs are hermaphrodites meaning they are all males and females, therefore it's the king and queen of slugs in 1 creature.
So I went into a corn field ~30m away from home by bike with my brother and a friend.
We played a bit, ate, did spme things, and when we wanted to go home it was already dark.
When I picked up my bike I had my hand wrapped around a huge slug that climbed on my handlebar and EW it was disgusting.
Luckily we had water and tissues to clean my hands and the slimy handlebar.
