doubt. there is no 100% plausible explanation of technical part. there were two explosions and many other strange things happened, that were never inspected. it could be artificial nuclear explosion
but lets look at motives and logic.
this british serial looks like an alibi attempt to me. so i start to ask questions about reasons why this accident was needed 1985 and who benefits.
1. existence of nuclear plants makes the myth of cold war busted. if you expect nuclear strikes on your territory you will never build nuclear plants. 2021 we can assume we live in global world full of fake conflicts. but it was the same world in 1985. overpopulation and control of bydlos was always main problem of ruling caste.
2. they needed a bigger disaster to dissolve soviet union - to explain people the need for reforms and to weaken central parts of russia/ukraine, the core land of resistance against central government in Moscow. reminder - same territories were depopulated and pacified by several artificial famines from exactly same party in moscow.
3. people on this lands were anarchistic - they were always rebelling against central government. so it was a bigger danger of some kind uncontrolled movement or creation of slavic union - intermarium.
4. we have seen sabotage acts of this kind in the past. russian czar lost almost entire fleet by exploding ships and sabotaged ammunition 1905-1917.
5. there must be something else, but for sure i dont trust this maniacs a single word and for sure everything we see in this serial is a lie
