Gonna go now to have an expensive coffee at one of those trendy cafés and then I will eat some couscous-stew I made

Sounds good, just imagine the caffeine.
I made some pasta now and will go outside later, sadly not at a trendy café.

Update of plans: I was expecting a delivery from UPS. I paid 25€ extra to have it more quickly delivered home. Turns out they just delivered it to some access point, and now I have to walk after it.
There was some really have rain pouring down today. Yippee. Guess it's time for a walk now. I hate this company. DHL is 100x better and reliable.

Update: it was a disgusting tropical weather after the rain when the sun started to shine/burn again, I became extremely sweaty just by walking but I managed to retrieve my package. A new linen shirt and shorts for the summer heat.
Now I will be heading to the outside gym for some work out, hopefully it won't rain again and that there will be no mosquitos.

Work, featuring work, including work, and work again tomorrow. At least the view is decent despite knee high slash in some areas, rocks that pain the hands and some cunt of a plant that stabs every facial orifice when checking to assure the tree's properly planted.

Update: Ordered new shoes for jogging and exercising. I will be trying out these new type (or new to me) of shoes that are called barefoot-shoes I think that should activate and train muscles in your feet that normally don't get used with average shoes due to the thick sole on them.
The sole is very thin and flexible on these, this will be an interesting experiment.

Interestings, I always wanted to try running in barefoot shoes in fact. Maybe you would feel like a caveman hunter.

Update: Tested them today, took a 3km jog and walked for 2km. Very interesting results. When walking down stairs I kept hitting my heels too hard due to being used to shoes with heels protecting the hit.
After the jog, the area between my upper body and where the foot attaches to it felt like it had got some proper movement. That area on my left foot has earlier felt stuck and probably was the reason for why my knee felt hurt all the time. Will keep experimenting (next week sometime, from tomorrow on, I'll be drunk).

Indredsating broblemme.

Are you not used to walking barefoot in general? I walk barefoot when at home. Also did you learn how to walk as a kid shoed? I am somewhat convinced it leads to heelwalking. You need to put most weight on ball of the feet.

>walking barefoot
Recently I started going barefoot everywhere to train my feet and now I can even run over gravel and it doesn't hurt.

No, I wear shoes & socks 99,99% of the time.
Jokes aside, I walk barefoot at home, but is not enoug to make up for the damage that bad shoes cause it seems.
I am used to wearing heavy working boots at work and I think those molded my feet during the prolonged use to form into an unhealthy form that might be the reason why my knee hurts (I had the knee photographed but there was nothing wrong in the knee, it comes from somewhere else).
Most people who wear shoes also use the heel when walking, it's a common thing that happens, I trained myself earlier to jog properly so the front of my foot hits the ground first, but I had to manually train myself to it.

Talked btw with my tall friend with large feet about this subject, he complained about his knees hurting and told me his small toes are folding inside under the other toe, I told him he needs to fix it and buy even larger shoes, or wider.

>told me his small toes are folding inside under the other toe
my pinky toe is a bit sideways and curled inwards
I blame shoes, I have very wide feet and I could never find fitting soles
FinlandBernd2021-08-05 22:14:02 · 5yNo. 119001reply

You must order shoes that are actually wider, the standard width is obviously too small for your feet, it is not healthy to continue like that. My work boots made my big toe curl inwards when I had too thick socks in them during winter and it was one reason for my bad stance.
I really recommend investing in properly fitting shoes, measure your feet yourself or go to a shoe maker and have them measure them and perhaps craft you a personal sized shoe, it might cost a lot but personally I don't regret myself buying plenty of quality shoes instead of cheap trash shoes.

I walk barefoot a good amount. Most of the issues lay with the hazards others leave shattered or abandoned on the streets.
I also once stepped in dog shit and didn't notice where the smell came from until I was in bed :-----DDDD
