Just where should I go?

I don't like the gray and bland region where I live. I want to live in a place with beautiful nature, i don't need a big city close to me but a local supermarket would be nice.

The weather should be rather warm as I love to do gardening - everything above central germany doesn't get enough sun hours, especially for my favourite kind of tree that I have always lived with: The sweet chestnut.

What is Bernds opinion on South Tyrol?

If you could freely choose where to live in Europe, Berne - where would you be?

The Baltics were pretty cute when I visited. Nice forests.

Sadly it is too cold there for my plants.
I have a lemon tree and a banana plant in my frontyard. (the banana plant does not grow fruits though because it is too cold).
I can not imagine living in a place where it snows for more than one week a year - which is the case here.
We usually get 2-3 days of snow at -3 degrees or so.

Reading in my garden is one of the few hobbies I have, and I wish to not to be surrounded by traffic, noise amd gray but by nature.

Where exactly? Germany has very soulful and very soulless places imo. But mostly soulless places are thriving because industry and soulless places are dying and only old people live there.

Where are the soulful places?
Can it compete with mediterranean countries?

I've been to Bavaria mostly, it certainly has soul. For its size München is great (you just need to avoid the places which burgers and chinks visit) and Regensburg could easily be a North Italian city.

I just want to be happy, soon I will have to start to work.
But why? For what? I don't see a reason to work, what does it give me?
Money? I have just enough to not starve because I wasn't born poor.
Will work give me friends? I somehow doubt it.
I feel like my life will end the second I sign the working contract.

I work because I'm addicted to it and it keeps me social and fit.
Find a reason and it will set you free.

I went to Greece 2 years ago and the whole mountain range was all sweet chestnut trees.

I wouldn't claim to be one, for that I'm not good enough.

that's what I use for citrus plants
Fitting my entire garden into a glass house doesn't sound czy at all.

Done well, you could have this overgrown tropical paradise inside a glasshouse. But quite a bit of infrastructure in order to get it to work.
