Do you know Duffy? She is a pop singer that got mostly famous for her song Mercy in 2009. After completely disappearing for years she resurfaced last April with a story about why she disappeared.
>Singer Duffy has opened up about a four-week ordeal during which she says she was drugged in her own home, raped and taken to a foreign country.

What do you think about this? When I read about it last year on reddit I've closely watched discussions (in a UK related sub for example) about the case. People had doubts about the story, saying it didn't happen, declaring her mentally ill and so on. And got shouted down by your typical reddit leftwingers saying you can't deny a woman's rape experience.
I don't doubt that rape often happens in such ways that there's no way for the victim to prove their story and I actually think that it is awful. I'm also aware of the fact that rape accusations can be made up to try or successfully destroy someone's life in times of #metoo and questionable hyper awarenes.
But how would you drug a (kind of famous) woman and get with her on international flights, through passport checks, and all? It seems really wild.
(I made a post about this a few hours ago in a rape related thread on another IB, but didn't get any interest. So I'm trying here. My interest from last year was triggered by thinking about this case and checking out if there was any follow up statement or something. I didn't find anything so far.)
