Today someone called me who claimed to be from my health insurance.
It was from a mobile number and the number doesn't return any google results.

He was suspiciously nice and was looking for feedback about my experience with their service.
He was saying strange things like they want to have a more personal relationship with their customers. More "human" or something like that.
I was expecting a scam but he didn't ask for any facts about me.
But he said they would like to call more often in the future. Like 1-2 times a year.

He knew that I was insured with them since my 25. birthday, but that could be a guess, since students over 25 aren't covered by their parents health insurance anymore.

Very strange

Bretty strange if you ask me.
Have you ever been called by your insurance company before? Because I haven't. Its only ever just mail.

No, they never called before. Could be a Corona idea by the insurance company or a strange long term scam and they want to gain my trust.

He's WFH (working from home) and forgot to hide his phone number.

I think it should be pretty easy to verify if the company actually has this policy. Shoot them a quick email.
