clearly, segments of the tower of infinity are rounded in a convex manner, as opposed to the romanian ornaments concave segment surfaces. Further to note is that the ends of the tower suggest that the discrete parts of the whole are not actually the naively percieved segments, as it is the case for the ornament, instead they might be seperated at their widest part.
I conclude that the similarity of these two pieces does not imply inspirational flow in either direction, though it cant be
assumed to not be so either.
