Why are workplace shootings so much less common than school shootings, am I merely ignorant? I am only aware of the attack on Youtube HQ, but the shooter didnt work there herself so that's not the category I'm looking for.

Discussions?

School is a prison where you are forced to go. Also for young people everything in that jungle is what is important for them, they treat school life like society itself. Thus, if you are bottom barrel/rejected by society, you feel like burning it down.

Work place is different, it is just one part of your whole life, and you can quit anytime you want. You are not imprisoned there, unlike mandatory school.

Maybe it's because it's still all about copying Columbine? Or maybe it's because to teenagers, the school is their world and they can't think of anything more appropriate to unleash their rage upon. I wouldn't even consider a shooting tbh, the truck is more efficient
