When you do you should start a band about it.

Things I like about Neofolk:

- the look

- return to local traditions and diy instead of globalized mass produced stuff

- interest in non- or pre-christian religions

- outdoors

- folk music

 

Things I dislike about Neofolk:

- the look when it's just LARPing as Nazis

- being Nazi

- the fanbase largely being Nazis

Sounds like a start.

I also like focusing on physical health and returning to nature, but I don't like steroid abuse and many other aspects of meathead culture and I don't like the pseudoscience and new age woowoo of hippies.
