I don't even play chess, but damn, this is compelling.

This really does beg the question though, what will be the next groundbreaking paradigm in computational science? Machine learning incredible, but what if there is something out there that is more robust? Machine learning has already severely fucked with our idea of what a computer is, but what if it is just the tip of the iceberg? Will we fundamentally change our understanding of what intelligence is? Will we find a computing paradigm that is so unthinkable, yet so powerful? Have we been limiting ourselves with base 2 computations?

idk, I'm kinda pissed im not immortal. I would really like to be able to play modded skyrim on future quantum computers.
