This is what top boomer athletes looked like in the 1970s. Notice the average build, it was barely passing then and inconceivable now.
 
This relates to the refinement of practically everything we see in out day to day life. People have even become more nuanced and sophisticated because of refinement.
 
Therefore I declare history as a series of refinements.
