Why are imageboards so addictive?
How to develop a healthy relationship to this dangerous drug?

I don't know man. It makes me feel like I have friends, even thought I don't.

Maybe you should get more friends?

I’ve been using these for 8 years. Every year that passes I have less friends irl and less on imageboards. Migration after migration moving to a board with less and less users. Soon I will have no irl friends (well that’s already happened) and no imageboard friends

I've found that using this image board has made me feel better. I recently started college, and it feels impossible to connect with anyone. I can substitute my need for socialization with gondola

I was in a similar position a while ago, though I've been on imageboards since before college.
If you can meet up with people at clubs or small functions or selective enviroments. Otherwise you'll be like me and end up with nothing to show for except a degree.

Constant stimulus. New information. Social interaction without the slightest effort or pressure because, no accounts.
