That feel when you finally come to peace with your personality, and then get the notion that the thusly affected people can and should form "tribes" (that apparently means loose circles of acquaintances) on social media, so you go look them up, and most are just flaming raging LGTBBQ-caricatures, but you still man up and wade through all the bullshit and follow some seemingly normal one, but even they, like clockwork, make sure to spew out the whole litany of "look how progressive and left wing I am" bit by bit, and you successfully swallow your pride and ignore that bullshit - but no they MUST go full retard and touch the one issue that's the non-negotiable in the MOST RETARDED AND BIASED WAY POSSIBLE DESPITE THE FACT THAT OUR VERY IDENTITY STEMS FROM A TENDENCY THAT MAKES US CONSIDER EVERYTHING WITH RATIO AND COHERENT THOUGHT

I AM FUCKING TIRED OF ALL THIS FUCKING SHIT, WHY MUST PEOPLE BE SO RETARDED, AS IF THE MERE FACT THAT THEY CAN'T CONSIDER THENSELVES NORMIE FORCES THEM TO ACT AS RETARDED AND EDGY AS HUMANELY POSSIBLE

And if that wasn't enough, about half of this idiot bubble is furry as well

I want to flip my computer table. Maybe I should really just stop, everything of this bullshit social connection.

What do you mean?
CaliforniaBernd2020-09-28 22:42:21 · 6yNo. 102965reply
It's weird. People have this strange inability to consider that it is possible to be wrong. It's even debatable if there is a "right" or "wrong", so how the hell can anybody know if they are absolutely right?

Fucking PHD nuclear physicists don't know if they're right or not, so how the fuck can some college dropout know that their world is objectively "the right world view"? We're all fucking wrong, and it's okay. Shit happens, and we miscalculate things. It doesn't necessarily make you evil or horrible, and it doesn't make everybody who is right evil or horrible. We're all fuck ups who don't know shit, and the sooner we come to terms with this, the sooner we can approach each other as human beings.

I guess the topic you're touching is the neurotypical group think, which is the prerequisite for finding a group/society/herd to belong to. The fact that science and the scientific method have to be explicitly learned would show that constant reflection of knowledge isn't exactly normal for common people. They usually just rest in the cozy feeling of "even if we fuck up from time to time, everything is sorta ok in our circle of acceptance".

However, my frustration stem from the fact that I refer to autistic people (>>102964) who, by definition, don't work that way.

Also they didn't reply to my discussion prompt, what's probably a blessing, but still hurts because I have no friends even among those who are equally retarded as I am.

Must be hard being an autistic nazi, huh?

It unironically is. And I'm not even a nazi. The thing is, I've got my life going at least somehow. Yes, I have problems, as every human, but I also solve them and generally move forward.

I would also be the last to bitch about some juridical adaptions to unjust laws. Hell, I live in a socialdemocratic paradise and it's awesome. But these people literally do nothing else than pick a new obscure group who they feel like identifying with every day. I am on twitter to virtually socialize, not to engage in ceaseless virtue signalling in a bubble that's already completely disregarded in any serious real life context because of exactly that.

Especially since it's exactly that. Virtue signalling. Activism. And by that, it per definition is nothing more than just mindless repetition of the newest slogan someone loud came up with. There is not even the intention to get in any sort of discourse. The particular example I commented on was a cheap, awful strawman that would fall apart the second someone put only a remnant of thought into it, but of course was displayed as "hrrrrr bad guys dumb and hypocritical, amirite". I mean it is almost an obligation for anyone to at least say something when encountering someone spreading actual propaganda while not thinking about it.

But apparently, because you don't immediately agree with the underlying sentiment, you're an extremist nazi.

Fuck this fucking shit
GermanyBernd2020-09-29 11:49:57 · 6yNo. 102984reply
Well, since you’re an autist I’ll assume you mean what you say literally and believe you’re not a nazi. But as you might know, Nazis these days often hide their more extremist views behind toned down statements, which in turn makes everyone else very suspicious. A bad situation if you ask me.

That being said, I’m not really clear about your original problem yet. You wanted to join some online community for autists, but people there parroted PC slogans which you didn’t like? Are there IRL support groups near you? IRL people often have less of the craziness we know from the internet.

To me, assburgerism is kind of a meme.
If someone revealed himself to be an autist Irl, I wouldn’t really know what to think about him, other than that he probably has problems with metaphoric speech and other social weirdness. I wouldn’t judge him so you shouldn’t be afraid to be open about it, I think.

many people with diagnosed assburgerism online i wouldn't ever know to be assburgers, as they usually find ways to become more socialable; it just takes more work than normies. i can understand and use sarcasm etc. online and even IRL just fine, but it took years of experience.

to use a computing analogy, think of normies as using x86 instruction set architecture, while assburgers are using ARM ISA. ARM processors can run x86 code just fine, but it requires an emulation layer to translate the instructions, which incurs a performance penalty. meanwhile x86 processors can run x86 native code natively and have no performance penalty whatsoever, analogous to how most of these social rules and behaviors come naturally to normies.

ofc there are still those on the spectrum who can't function in normal society, but that isn't limited to the autism spectrum, as there are many other mental illnesses which functionally cripple a person.
FinlandBernd2020-09-29 17:34:16 · 6yNo. 102988reply
labeling assburgösis as a mental illness is not accurate

it is a personality type that is considered to be a disorder/abnormal, ie. it is what a person innately is, not something external to your core personality that has infected your mind like trauma or an acquired phobia is

a person does not "have" assburger, they "are" on the assburgers/autism spectrum

Update

I thought I'd just befriend some of the not as flamboyantly gayposting Aspies, but even among them, the scene is sad.

I mean, they form a proper twitter bubble. But all they post about, almost hourly, are whining about inclusion. How they feel shitty about some statistics from the US and A, how they had some misfortune, how every employer ever is an unfair patriarchal dick because he chooses to employ people who actually function (how comes I found a job immediately despite being an Aspie? I guess because I enjoy topics and work), and generally how normies should change their ways in order to appease Aspies whereas they flame against every and any expectations placed on Aspies by society (even if it is as much as "conform to conversational norms").

I plan on publishing an assburgerish flame, outlining how they, as a group, are just as normative and excluding as they accuse Normies to be, but then again, nobody would read it because I'm not in the whining circlejerk.

good lord, privileged aspies don't realize they're aspies. don't they realize that say, welfare for aspies is an anomaly only found in first world countries? put them in third world suffering, let's see how much they whine!
