I will probably never play games anymore. I never played on any consoles, but I will not bother to get a new gaming pc with Windows, either. They can stick that crappy OS into their own ass.

I basically hate everything it stands for. It spies on me, it updates against my will, I have to buy it and support an unethical company etc etc etc.

Inb4: Just pirate it and install shady software this and do that hack to get rid of the unwanted stuff. Yeah, I hate that, too.

 

Basically I want to use Linux or Mac and will not compromise on my preferences just to play an gaym a few times a month max.

Mac is no different if not worse in terms of spying and doing shit against your will.

But that's kinda how it is with everything today.

I personally prefer windows and i like 10 a lot.

Spying yeah you can more or less disable some shit but generally i stopped caring.

I update regularly, but I don't appreciate these forced updates Windows people have to endure. I still have a Windows 7 box from back in the day that I only use to play skyrim and oblivion. Literally nothing else. I don't even open a browser. Yet Microsoft somehow forced an install of their new browser a while ago.

To me this is unacceptable.

The first serious game I played after almost 10 years of poverty. Fond a wiiU for 70€ a year or two ago, and now discovered this gem in library to lend for free.

 

I'm so, so happy, although I have already defeated the boss. Just browsing the world on wild horses and throwing bombs at enemies.

Breath of the wild? I though its switch exclusive for some reason, my gf likes it a lot, and i dont have time to play it. Also there are wind waker on wii u check it out if you have a chance.

I think it was just better graphically and had no other changes.

Serious Sam 4.

Immensely fun, big improvement over 3, certainly one of the best shooters in recent years.

Sadly the release is soured by serious (:DDDD) lack of technical polish.

Hotfixes are currently rolling out.

I hear its graphically quite nice, but my system is weak.

Finally thread I searched. I play now wasteland 3. Saw some streamer played it and then tried it myself. Over all I don|'t like RPG and especially turn by turn based combat like in x-com. But this game made me addicted to it. The game is very buggy, broken, and retarded in many ways gameplay wise. Also loading even with ssd takes a while.

But I enjoy funny shit and a lot of content they put there. Interesting moral dilemas and story is not bad. Also not all charactares are black and white. There are cartoon villians like some factions of psychopaths and there are some people you think in the beginning are good but later on you recieve more red pills about them.

Would totally recomend.

I need to start playing all those fun shooters like serious sam, duke nukem forever, that samurai with katana game. I remember when I played earlier serious sam games I hade later sound hallucinations of those screeming kamikadze bombers.

 

Btw I saw some guy played serous sam 4 and he saw that maps are endless there and they somehow probably keep generating. Guy was walking like half and hour in one directions and never saw the end of it. Maybe he played some beta so I ma not sure if it is true in released version.

I want to play Crusader Kings III but im sure as fugg not gonna pay 50€ for another unfinished parajew game.

I started playing Fallout New Vegas again. I just bought the DLC bundle on sale about two weeks ago. Old World Blues has been great so far. The nightstalkers can get a bit irritating, but I found out that you can just jump onto a rock or something and they cannot touch you.

Also it was cool that one of the NPCs had the same voice actor as Rusty Venture from the Venture Bros.

Fatalis got added to MHW Iceborne last week, after some tries I managed to get some solo kills.

I'd say this is the best iteration of the fatalis fight so far, very frantic.

I still disagree with the nova idea introduced by Behemoth in World, but atleast Fatties didnt top Alatreons in absurdity.

I also dont like that they gave him stun resist, which makes him unreasonable to hammer.

People say that this is to balance against sticky LBG, but in that case they should simply nerf stickies, as those have been overtuned since the beginning.

 

All in all, a competent "final boss", rewarding appropriatly overpowered gear.

What is your build? I find the game isn't too hard as long as you use firearms. Melee builds are hard to make well, especially if you don't know the rules beforehand.

 

Currently I'm playing Baldur's Gate III. It's pretty good but still missing all of my favourite 5E classes (Druid, Paladin, Barbarian).

I dumped personality down to 2, so I could have high endurance paired with high intelligence. Also went with DEX 10 for 10 AP. Automatic firearms were kinda underwhelming, so I restarted as a melee guy.

Current is

Str 8 (+1 from serum, +1 from igor helmet)

End 8 (base 7 +2 from glutton -1 Lucky One)

Dex 10

Int 5

Att 1

Pers 9

Luck 6 (with Lucky One and the boost from the wooden idol)

 

Feels like nothing but an LMG on burst will stop me now.

Although Lucky One really hurt the skill points worse than I thought.

I'm playing JA2 but damn it's kind of difficult. I have my mercs all loaded up with pistols, but their effective range is shitty as fuck, and the enemies (also with pistols) hit me way more often.

 

Only my main can hit something with his smg.

 

 

I managed to savescum and get past the first encounter. Drassen Airport is impossible

 

I got Igor and Leech and Ira from the rebels in my party.

 

What am I doing wrong?

Are you playing the base game, or playing with mods?

I advise hiring some extra mercs, especially from the service that lets you keep them on longer contracts. Try to get a rifleman or two in a good position, such as lying prone on a roofs edge and baiting the enemy into their line of sight with other mercs.

 

Also you might wanna consider making Ira into a hauling donkey/healslut since she is not too good for much else I've found.

Yes thats the one. The merc contracts that are sold there are cheap and long-term but the mercs themselves don't hold up to AIM standards. Meaning they basically suck compared to AIM mercs. However if you can keep them alive for long enough, they can definately be worth it, since they level.

I started over.

Got some mercs from AIM as I still can't access M.E.R.C, I got them with better gear so it's very effective.

Once MERC is available you should get a few of the MERC guys. Best thing about MERC is that they get better mercenaries if you pay em moneys and you are more flexible when it comes to paying MERC mercenaries than say AIM ones.

 

Also dont forget to keep the equipment before a contract runs out, since you paid for it anyways.
