Have you noticed that boomers love to point out how old they are when they make youtube comments? I forgot to screenshot the examples when I had them in front of me, but many times I noticed comments like: "I'm a 63 year old man and I was never crazy about this youtube thing, but I like your music very much." Why does he feel the need to point out his age?

It's a generation thing. Look at Beatles songs on YT, there will be kids who loudly announce their age and how unique they are.

I think complaining about Gen Z is the newest form of attaining "oldfag" cred.
Ironically a few of them bitch about "zoomer" culture while embracing newer memespeak and the more recent cancerous trends in imageboards.
