That's stupid. For my morality, the only group that matters is humanity. That also means that the earth, as humanity's home, has to be protected and maintained in a condition that humans can live in. But destroying humanity to benefit earth is stupid. Who benefits? The earth certainly doesn't care one way or the other.

I for one believe humanity was a misstep in evolution and it is in our nature to exponentially breed and destroy until the last one dies in a barren wasteland. That science and technology is directed mostly towards the next iPhone/financial cycle. Before I turned full misanthrope I had my hopes humanity would birth sentient AI that could take over, but we are far too busy fucking and seeking short-term pleasure for that happen before we are kill.

I work in the environmental field but I don’t have the belief humans are evil and only hurt the planet. We are apart of it like all life, it’s just our habitat can be anywhere and everywhere because we developed the ability to make our own habitats. And trust me we do keep in mind protecting nature when we work with land developers, naturalizing environment, planting only natives, protecting at risk environments, accounting for at risk species, all to make it so that our environment can coexist with the natural world

And we need only one idiot that allows cutting and burning down the rain forests to make all sensible efforts null. Global human population will increase and such will our need for land to develop. Even beavers are considered pests when their numbers increase in a certain area, why not humans?

Practically for but philosophically against. Humanity should be pushed to extinction to put an end to human suffering and all of the injustice in this world (antinatalism), not to save the environment

I feel that the people who you should advertise to shouldn't be Bernds, or really any imageboard dweller, as they'll maybe churn out one kid. There's plenty of others outside of this corner of the web who should make an attempt to at least not shit out babies every weekend.

Though this is less because of enviromentalism and more because irresponsibles (like deadbeats, welfare queens, people who think condoms are Satan, etc) will churn out kids that are born into economic/social disadvantage.

-modern healthcare for allowing humans to live

-agriculture and factory farming for making it very efficient to sustain continued human population growth
