I was already turning into a stay at home person the year before corona. It's business as usual

I thought I was a neurotic germophobe before but corona took it to new heights.

yea it fucked my shit up good tbh
imma former wizard that multiclassed to bard at lv 20 or so
was playing gigs and doing random bullshit restaurant jobs under the table to eat
but gigs are all also under the table, so no tax record = no ronabux
and memeflu = no gigs and no restaurants
fuck me right?
then my landlord freaked out, thinking the housing market would crash prolly will considering my town is literally on fire rn and snap sold the house i was renting to some sicilian houseflipping cunt who paid off a judge to illegally evict me. i changed the locks, told him to fuck himself, and held out till end of may. then they broke in, literally threw me out with his greasy WOP thugs, tried to have me arrested for squatting, tried to put a lien on me to pay for """"damages"""", and threw out most of my shit. got most of my instruments and some of my friends paintings out, but little else. then i crashed in my storage closet for a few weeks until i could find a friend who wasnt afraid of no memeflu and now im living on the floor on his porch

I have crossed the threshold of going insane.
I have had very few friends or social contacts before. In the last year, I have received chronic injuries that prevent me from doing some physical activities, almost all my "friends" have moved away, started families or have no time for me due to some other reasons. If I died today, it would probably take months until my body was found and nobody ever calls or messages me.

I lost my job in march and im since then unemployed, which wasnt that bad because i live with my parents and the unemployment money i get is enough to cover all my expenses.
Had last friday a test working day in a company and in 7 hours i have one in another. I cant sleep because im nervous.

Goddamnit

University is on full distance-learning, Helsinki is plague-zone and I'm stuck at parents' in my behind-god's-back hometown for the time being. I shouldn't complain as I'm now well-fed and have barely any expenses, but my belongings are in Helsinki, including PC and all books.

Hoping the vaccine is available before NYE, before I'm going insane with this small as fuck laptop screen and no privacy.

Be glad you're not living in Russia, they forced us all out and I fear for my mom, dad and myself. We visit uni twice or thrice a week max, but my mom goes to work every day.

when will the horror end
FinlandBernd2020-09-13 15:47:54 · 6yNo. 101876reply
Yeah Russia is a nightmare.

Fortunately I got my parents into safety, both are over 70yo and in the highest risk group. I wish the plague hadn't reached our little town but there have been a handful of infections already.
