At last after months of failures and bureaucracy I got myself a tax number and opened a broker account. I bought this stonk for test purpose. I plan tomorrow wasting more money.

different depending on state/cunt/personal wealth etc
you get taxed on capital gains
if you lose money you can actually write it off

and if youre in singapore none of that shit matters in the slightest

I need to pay capital gain tax. How to do it I am not sure yet.
United StatesBernd2020-08-28 11:51:39 · 6yNo. 100204reply
dont worry about it till tax season
youre broker will likely send you the necessary forms
just do make sure you have some liquidity to pay it when the time comes

Thnx bernd. I am now subscribed on wallstreet bets from plebdit. Also hopefully will finish finally that Hull book. I am also interested in strategies described in efficiently inefficient markets.

I am planning to gamble by buying a tiny amount of ETF (iShares American tech stocks). But I do expect another dot com bubble.

jannies b& my whole IP range so i havent been in years and proxy with jewgle captcha is intolerable, but it was unironically a pretty fun thread. and shitposting aside, there were quite a few dudes who actually knew their shit
thats where i got that google drive

>also interested in strategies described in efficiently inefficient markets
try "a random walk down wallstreet"
idk if its in that drive tho. check libgen.is
but its all about applying the random walk theory to the market
super interesting

>expect another dot com bubble
i expect a fuck huge market-wide credit crunch tbh
post dodd frank, it seems that banks, rather than lending to retarded home-buyers who will never pay back, decided instead to lend to retarded corporations who will never pay back
such cases

1 tesla is $475? garch
GermanyBernd2020-09-01 23:24:31 · 6yNo. 100604reply
That doesnt look good, atleast you havent spend much, also i bet tesla will go up in the future.
Space-X is not on the stock exchange is it? Would be a good thing to buy i think.
AustriaBernd2020-09-01 23:27:56 · 6yNo. 100605reply
Yes actually it was kinda dumb since I just asked market price so got the shittiest deal and bought for 502. I also wanted to test theory that when I invest in something it goes down.
And it works again :DDDD.

Tesla is overvalued it is just when bubble pops. Also space x is private unfortunatelly.

Kek, I picked the wrong day to enter the market. Everything is falling down. It will take time to recover.

Seriously considering investing in buttcoin's downturn but kinda hesitant at the moment, since the markets are pinging around too much.

I wonder if it actually recovers. I think I will wait till the battery day and then maybe sell if nothing much habbens.

This. you could have made a few thousand bucks easily if you entered the market in mid march. Everything was crashing. And like 2 weeks later back to normal more or less.
GermanyBernd2020-09-08 21:14:38 · 6yNo. 101637reply
Also if your "lucky" we gonna get a second quarantine soon and then its going to crash again. Infection numbers in france are now on all time high.
