Halt!
"I'll be the acid spy"
Jag gör vad jag vill
Jag vet precis hur
Jag vet precis hur
Jag vet precis hur
Vi skulle få leva här
Vi skulle få leva här
Vi skulle få leva här

Ung och kåt!!! Didn't know there would be anyone here that would recognize Ebba! So cool!

I wish I lived in Stockholm or London or Berlin during the 80's and was involved in local punk circles

I actually have a conflicted relationship with that song. When I showed it to my girlfriend at the time, she said it was disgusting. She later came out as asexual and said she only had sex with me because she felt like it was something she had to do, but didn't enjoy it. Made me feel very bad about our time together and about making moves on girls.

Ebba Grön is kinda cool. Not sure if it is my favourite punk band, but then again I'm not that knowledgeable. I mainly listened to punk when I was a teenager before transitioning to metal, but I never really cared that much about music.

At that time I liked Billy Talent, but of course that was frowned upon as evil and commercial.

Talking about more "true" punk I like Crass, which I came across when reading the autobiographies of Jón Gnarr, who is a big fan and even has a Crass tattoo. "Do they owe us a living" speaks to me. I'm not really an anarchist or anything like that, but when I think about our current economic system I can't help but feel full agreement with the message of the song.

I think it's so cool to find some German Bernd who has even heard yet listened to Ebba here. And I will say, if you want to punch me under the belt, Ebba is my weak spot, it's all I have. That's me. I just love Ebba and Thåström. I wish more people would listen to them/him. Even if it one person, I can't tell you how happy I am to know that there is one person here who knows Ebba. I don't feel that alone anymore.
Shame your girlfriend back then didn't understand it, but then again I can fully understand her, it is in another language after all... But Ebba and then Thåström has so many other songs. And Imperiet! Shame it didn't work out for you two, I also had a girlfriend I really liked, but ufortunately it wasn't mutual and I was dumped later.

I don't think anyone should hold any favourites! I have been through so many different genres and bands, but the best part is, I have never grown tired of any of them, unlike many other people who just lock themselves in their own genre. I love metal (especially as younger), punk, rock and anything nowaydays, it keeps growing, and I hate the idea of restricting it.
Punk is still my thing thoug, that I keep going back though.

Wow you just had to bring me back tens of years. When I was a young teenager I listened to this... You brought it all back now.

Another punk song

I remember hearing this when being in a punk bar for the first time when I was 18 or so.

Usually one does not hear Bernds hearing punk or its type! I am happy to hear there is another soul here!

Great song. This is a classic - brings me back 15 years. God I wish I was a teenager again! Such innocent times... Everyone else grew up.

Wish I knew German better, the music part sounds damn good, the talking parts unfortunately passes my understanding (my understating of German is limited to simple sentences)

The APPD (Antisocial pogo party of Germany) was some weirdo project by social rejects who formed a real political party with the goal to get enough votes to qualify for government campaign aid and use that money to buy a truck load of beer and give it away for free, if I recall the story correctly.

The slogan, repeated multiple times in the video, was: Saufen, saufen, jeden Tag nur saufen. (Boozing, boozing, everyday just boozing.)

My favourite quotes from the video:
0:14 young people need pensions, not jobs
0:35 a bunch of riff-raff and insane people – crazy!
0:56 working is shit, huh? sun is shining, feet are burning, I don't need to work either. What do I do? Drink!
1:08 They admit they don't have any solutions. They admit that they are stupid. I think that's honest, I think that's good!

Good night, punk Finn! You made me want to listen to music more. (But it's probably going to be Motörhead and Black Sabbath rather than punk.) I'll try to catch some z's now and visit a girl tomorrow :3

I really liked the musical parts of the video, even if they were really short. Sounded like a good punk song!
As they say, one has to dream, solutions ain't easy, you coulnd't be a punk rocker if you could copypaste some easy solution.

If there is something I miss it's going back 10-15 years and just enjoying some gig with other punk friends, but unfortunately, everyone grew up... I used to travel to my friends place, get drunk, go to a gig, etc, and everyone had a good time! But that hasn't happened for several years, it's just gone/dead....

Cya m8, that song reminds me of the times we used to take 3-4 friends, rent a small sauna with no sleeping places, only a CD-player (with Motörheads CD), and drink for several days during Christmas, surrounded by snow.
