wouldn't you rather want to play metroid and watch some science fiction that is the result of the burning desire of actual scifi nerds instead of this cheap tactic thought up by marketing executives or other suit-wearers to fabricate a generic movie based on a popular video game character just to make money?

isn't a movie that was made because someone wanted to make a movie so much better then a movie that was frankensteined to include a video game character that is popular without even having seen the movie?

i dunno, not trying to poop on your party, i just shake my head at consumerism.

I don't have any video games and the only scifi movie I have that I've yet to see is the newest Transformers using my brother's Vudu and it kinda' sucks

good for you, there are ways to get good old video games running on computers and even phones but don't bohter if you can avoid it, don't waste your time on them. try to live in the real world. i didn't. they did kind of feed my intelligence but usually not in ways i can apply irl.

movies have gotten considerably worse. i don't even bother with the entire art form anymore. when i was young a new movie was rare and made with a lot of care. now they make movies to re-educate you i think. like school but it pretends to be fun.
