>>7415Also, guy who suggested customizability here, the model of other people, the red ball thing, what the hell is that, its so creepy but awesome at the same time, where'd you get it from or the idea for it?>>7416 And what the guy below me said. And also, a function that lets you minimize or hide threads maybe? Or hide boards even. Like for example all I want to see is /b/ and hide all the other boards.
>>7419>Also, guy who suggested customizability here, the model of other people, the red ball thing, what the hell is that, its so creepy but awesome at the same time, where'd you get it from or the idea for it?Thats from doom dude. I'm not good at modeling, if someone could provide some models for me i'd most likely would add them.>And also, a function that lets you minimize or hide threads maybe? Or hide boards even. Like for example all I want to see is /b/ and hide all the other boards.will do that.>>7423chat is kinda obscure feature im still thinking about this.
>>7435Woops, my bad, didn't mean to make it sound like that, meant more like - If the IP address posts on it, that specific IP address can not post on it again for a few minutes. Also, I noticed whenever you start a new reply, you have to type in your name again each time?
Obviously otherwise we'd just get spammer faggots spamming the chat, you should also limit the "height" of a thread too, that mondo thread over there gets pretty glitchy if you fly all the way to the top.
the way i could see it is that the personal chat would be displayed for about a min. over the user. only being a short message, no image.but with the posts, you can type a much larger message along with images
>>7437Just fixed this, reload page.>>7438>Obviously otherwise we'd just get spammer faggots spamming the chat, you should also limit the "height" of a thread too, that mondo thread over there gets pretty glitchy if you fly all the way to the top. It's kinda obscure too, i like that people can build really big thread. I think i should just optimize loading and it should fix glitches.
Oh, also, if you're trying to post in a thread while other people are posting, it can get annoying as their posts appear ontop of yours while you're typing, and you have to wait for it to go up ontop of that again. Maybe something to fix that?
>>7442Thats actually a really good idea, having the chat message appear above your little avatar, the only problem would be it's visibility I guess. But it would be better than a chat box because in a chat we would all be anonymous so you really wouldn't be able to tell who was talking, making the chait pointless when you could just use the threads. Also posting seems a bit glitchy, at least in the anime section, whenever I try to post it doesn't show up or get created.
Just tweaked that postbox blocking thing. you can reload page and check it out.>>7451>Thats actually a really good idea, having the chat message appear above your little avatar, the only problem would be it's visibility I guess. How about instead of having threads appear in neat lines, you have each board be a 'core' and have the threads arranged in a random spread in a given radius around each 'core'.Their distance to the centre could relate to either how bumped they are (maybe bumped threads could be closer to the edge to emulate a black hole effect) or maybe relevance to the board, so if you have a topic that's pertinent to two boards you could have it halfway between 'cores'.Just an idea.
Also, you know how an onscreen message pops up at the left bottom corner whenever someone replies somewhere? It would be great if you could click on it so you could go see their reply, the way it is right now you can't really tell what they're replying to or bumping unless you know what thread the post number was in, or what board.
>>7458Or you could hover your cursor over the post/topic number on the bottom left everytime it pops up, and you could actually see the post, that the post number is refering too, so you'd see the post then you could click the number to teleport to it.
>>7458this is already implemented, just try to click on it.>>7457i had this idea at beginning, i think i can try that and see what will happen.>>7460i can do that too, not big deal.
