This is a screenshot of how western cyrodill, near Anvil, looks like as depicted in the Project Tamriel expansion mod.
The designers opted to depict the province through the same thematic and lore based lens of Morrowind, as opposed to the generic European fantasy route of Obvilion.
What do you get? You get a unique Greco-Mediterranean stylised world complimenting the depiction of the empire as a Roman civilization.
It feels like you are venturing around Spain, Italy, or Greece.
