Tell us about the computers you had in your life, either temporary or as more permanent friends

#1 IBM Aptiva Pentium II with 64MB of Ram, this was the machine that made me incel, I used to download old abandonware DOS games and play them in Windows 95
#2 1700 Mhz Pentium 4 with a Gefore 3 Ti 500, this was a real beast at the time able to play even Doom 3 (laggy) this bad boy taught me a lot
#3 Asus Laptop with Core i7 first gen mobile, this was my first time getting my toes wet into multicore and it was great, I learned a lot of incelism with this machine, a funny thing is that on summers it would overheat when I was incelling too hard and I had to remove the keyboard and screen and put a table on it to keep it cool, I had an external 720p TV to keep on browsing imageboards in this configuration
#4 Intel Pentium 4690k overclocked a lot with a Geforce 970 eventually upgraded into a Geforce 1070 this is the current machine I use instead of getting a girlfriend but he is a bit slow lately, other than that it has been very stable other than a few quirks with the Asus motherboard in booting but I always knew how to whisper it to work, maybe I need to get another friend to play Baldurs Gate 3 (fun fact, firefox froze when I wrote this post so maybe he is getting a bit sad I'm thinking of replacing him)

You might think that I'm an Intel and Nvidia fan boy but that's not true, I actually did have AMD more than once, the first time it was very bad it made checkerboard patterns on the screen when my girlfriend tried to play Spore and the second time it was even worse when the Rx380 just froze when the headless horseman showed up when I tried to play Morrowind

Only can tell about the one I have now
It’s thunderobot zero and it has a rtx3070 graphics card 500 gb hdd I think?
Pros
Runs most things (all of them p much)
Cons
Overheats to the point of shutting down if you don’t keep it in check and turn on the fan occasionally. Only happens while gaming tho
The way the screen is attached makes it easy for the charger to get stuck while closing which borked the screen case on the back a bit. If you move your laptop around it can be a problem.
Weird glitches like screen getting double vision, and there’s a rare glitch that happens while watching videos where it only outputs the first 3 cm of the screen multiple times. Idk if it makes sense and I don’t have a clue what this is but overall they kinda stopped 2 years in tbh

I know I only wrote one positive but honestly I’m happy about it
I bought it for

Runs literally everything tho and I’ve had it for 3 years so it’s nice
Bought it for 1500 usd ish I think, would be a few hundred cheaper now

I had a Timex/Sinclair 1000 with the 16k RAM upgrade, and the proprietary thermal printer. I wish I still had it.
