I want to learn Italian to travel to rome, I don't want to be fluent just to knew the basics, anyone here speaks Italian? some recs for learning a lenguage? it's similar to spanish so i'm not worried but it would be cool to know some words.

You could always search in 4chan in /int/ the /Lang/ thread, they have pretty useful information there and they have challenges for you to practice your lang skills; here's the wiki for example: https://4chanint.miraheze.org/wiki/Italian

If you are from Buenos Aires and would like to learn in a more traditional way, I'd recommend you the CUI Idiomas course, I learnt basic portuguese very fast there
