RussiaWhat is the appeal of soy drinks?Bernd2023-07-17 16:39:50 · 3yNo. 279238reply
Noticed a lot of those soy drinks in shops. Tried to buy one, it tasted like shit, like if real sour milk without the taste of milk with metal after-taste. What is the appeal of this, who buys this shit?

even with discount its 2$

try oat milk, especially if you like oats. is so pleasant and mild. i could never get into soy stuff. soy milk always tasted terrible to me as well as tofu and i never bothered to hack tofu into tasting better. people eat tofu only because they try to get protein in themselves and i don't believe in protein for humans.

Soy milk contains a lot of oestrogenes, let man become pussys. And look around, more and more man are mental ill with all this transformer shit.
Also: industry needs to become more and more automatized, where no people longer needed. step by step into a society, what's feeded by machines, clothed by machines and ruled by machines.

So i bought this combination and it was actually pretty good. Vanilla-Soy milk felt like a liquid ice-cream with a spark of bitterness, but kinda nice. No-sugar cupcakes in combination with that soy drink, felt real sweet and nice.
Feel like buying it again for the next weekend.

and Kavkaz Caucausians as well

Which is overdoing, since "sour dairy" products like snetana, varenets\ryazhenka or qatiq\suluguni can be digested, all the lactose in such dairy is fermented already

You should try almond milk, it’s good. If you don’t like it, just add молоко.

Obviously it's supposed to appeal to vegans and maybe lactose intolerant people.

i read that it has less lactose than milk
and butter and some cheese has significantly less lactose

Yogurt is fermented, so lactose is converted into lactic acid mostly.
Natural cheese is also fermented, but at different conditions which cause casein (one group of milk protein, the other is whey) to coagulate out. That protein (which still contains some milk fat and lactose because it doesn't separate wholly) is then aged and during aging some additional fermentation can occur (which is why cheese has holes in it).
Butter is mostly just the milk fat separated; since sugar is insoluble in fat the lactose mostly stays in the liquid side product (= buttermilk).

Depending on the place milk (and beef) can contain lots of estrogens. They pump cattle full of estrogen because it helps them grow quicker, gain more meat, and give more milk.

The point is so that you do not use cow milk. However, my father, who loves steak and eggs, prefers oat milk to cow milk. I have a vegan thread if you want https://krautchan.rip/int/278241 .
