Actually I'm a neet now. It's difficult getting a job in this climate despite the desperate outcry of workers and this supposed labour shortage. At this rate I'm dubious that I'll land a job before our next lockdown kicks on the 5th of January. Complete rubbish if you ask me, but we're doing better than Quebec. They've had a curfew reimposed since New Year's, and multiple protesters have been arrested and charged after breaking the rules.
Op, I'm doing fine, I'm just shitposting on kotchan. I really don't have much to input these days as I'm still in a rut. I got my license back, however I need to secure or manipulate someone into letting me borrow their car so I can graduate to my restricted/probationary license and within a year I can move onto my full license. Reinstating my health card has proven difficult without a lease, electrical bill, pay stub or a letter from my landlord and my rather disgruntled landlord hasn't appeared to collect the rent, which is rather unsettling, so I'm left in limbo until I can secure one of the prerequisites needed to renew my fucking healthcard.
I'm also in the works of getting some money my mum left me in a bank account I thought she had drained. I made a shitpost about it earlier in the week. Given that it's in my dead name, and hers and how I completely bungled the security questions, I'm adding more apprehension to my pile that I won't see this money or it'll be taxed by the Canadian tax department. I almost got away with a new debit card from that bank too. The naive in training teller had given me a new debit card and woke up the dormant account but no, I had to be a dumb ass and didn't read the papers I had found about the information signed to the account. Ah well, it's only 30k down the drain if its lost, no biggie. Problems are if the lawyer office sniffs out my moves, then I have a lot of explaining to do and that shouldn't be difficult either or if any other agency clobbers me due my negligence using Windows 10 or a potentially bugged wifi network.
