They are stalling and probably stopping our NPP. Danube level is too low.
During the day the country produces enough electricity - due to the enormous amount of solar panels installed due to the energy price crisis-craze. But for the night we have to import lot now that Paks aint producing.
How's your day?

>feeding cats
As long as you do it in your backyard like this Bernd >>363936 it's good.
I have a reservation feeding them however. It makes them get used to accepting food from people, and there are some who would harm them. On the other hand, stray cats, but even those who has home and are fed, tend to eat what they find anyway.
So... I dunno.

bad actors exist, however my mentality is like the last sentence you've put, they pretty much eat anything so I can help em a little whenever I can. if someone puts some kinda poison in their food and they accept it, its on the person that fed them poison in the first place. also fuck those people, I'm used to gore videos n all but I can't stand to see animals getting hurt. and its not something I do regularly so I can't really feel that guilty/faulty about this what if scenario really.

To some perhaps such as yourself perhaps but to others no. Just making conversation. In the states it's a pretty common question people ask one another. I guess it's not where your from though? Report me if you have a problem with that then Hungarian. Seems the topic is a big no no in some parts of Europe though but whatever, not asking how much money they make just ask what they do for work. Also if they're unemployed that's no biggie really. Just making conversation is all.

Asking a Turkish person what they do for a job is not rude at all. Work is a normal topic in Turkey. People often ask this to be polite and get to know you. The Hungarian person might think it is too forward, or they might mix up Turkish customs with other cultures. Why People Ask? It helps start a chat.It shows you care about their life.It is a safe and standard topic worldwide.

Have you ever heard of this beverage? Well you have now.Saloop (or salep/sahlab) is a warm, sweet, and thick drink made from the flour of orchid tubers, popular in the Middle East, Turkey, and historically in 18th-century England as a cheaper alternative to coffee and tea. It's known for its creamy, pudding-like texture, often flavored with rosewater, cinnamon, and topped with nuts or coconut, though modern versions often use cornstarch as a substitute for the rare orchid root. Key characteristics
Origin: Comes from the starchy tubers of wild orchids, with its name derived from Arabic for "fox testicles" due to the root's shape.
Flavor: Mild, earthy, and slightly floral, enhanced by sweeteners and spices like cinnamon, rosewater, or orange blossom water.
Texture: Thick, silky, and pudding-like, achieved by whisking the flour into hot milk.
Historical significance: A popular street food in 18th-century London, it was later shunned due to a false reputation as an aphrodisiac, while remaining a winter staple in the Middle East. Modern variations
Authentic: Made with real orchid root flour, it's rare and expensive due to over-harvesting concerns.
Imitation: Most commercial versions use cornstarch, rice flour, or other starches as a thickener, flavored with coconut, vanilla, and spices.
How it's served
Served hot in mugs, often with toppings like cinnamon, chopped pistachios, raisins, or shredded coconut.

Saloop was a hot 18th- and 19th-century London street drink made from orchid roots or sassafras. Its public consumption became shameful when it grew widely associated with the treatment of venereal diseases, causing street stalls to vanish within a single generation as coffee and cheaper tea took over.History of SaloopPopular Beginnings: Originally imported from the Ottoman Empire as salep, made from ground orchid tubers, it was later adapted locally using cheaper ingredients like sassafras.Working-Class Staple: Street vendors sold the warm, sweet, thick drink at dawn to laborers, chimney sweeps, and late-night revellers seeking hangover relief. The Social Stigma: As public perception shifted to link the beverage with sexual disease remedies, being seen drinking it implied an unsavory personal condition, killing its mainstream appeal.

Yeah, weird experience ay? Seen a few of them. One of them was a cigar shaped ufo about the size of a Boeing 747 and it was metallic looking. At first I thought it was one of them plane that sprays them chemtrails in the sky but nope, dam thing didn't have no wings. Another ufo I seen was this black ufo in the shape of that dreidel fidget spinner thing that Jewish folk play with during Hanukkah kinda,it was the size of a car. Seen a few other ufos as well in the last few years such as orb shaped ufos and even flying saucer one night and some other weird ones. I've had some weird dreams of ufos as well. Not recently but in the past if that counts as well. It's a strange experience. Most people look at you lime your crazy when you mention seeing one. Lol. In my opinion I'd say some of these craft folks see are actually top secret military crafts such as UAVs and the other ones well,it's quite likely ETs or InterDymensional beings or something possibly. Who knows. Some folks will say it's shaped shifting demons or something.

This heatwave is horrible. Supposedly it ends today, but in the past 7 days we got constant ~39. This pairs up with the lack of rain. The garden is burnt. I watered what I could each day, and luckily we have some trees that give shades but the grass is done in big patches. Two of the grapevines are dying so I'm hauling water to those. Also one of the trees as well.
Meanwhile each locality can decide about water conservation, our town has this.
